The time to get from the new capital of Japan—Tokyo—to an old capital of the country—Kyoto—is only 3 hours and 15 seconds by the high-speed train, Shinkansen. The landscape from the Shinkansen window keeps changing as fast as the train moves from one prefecture to another. The photos are kept in a chronological order and depict only one ride from Tokyo to Kyoto on March 14th.
