1. Who are you?
My name is Jessica and I’m a photographer and photo editor from the Canary Islands.
2. Where are you now?
Currently I’m based in Berlin.
3. What do you do when you’re not travelling?
Most of the time working at The Impossible Project. I also do yoga and I love going out for dinner with my close people.
4. What was the last piece of music you listened to?
Philip Glass – Mad rush.
5. Tell us briefly the travel story you shared on LOST recently.
Cuba without Fidel is a story about Cubans and their street life after the loss of Fidel Castro. This is a journey where I discovered fairness and happiness in a society where Cuban embargo just hit 57 years; the awareness of what we have in life and what we awaken by putting material values before moral values.
6. What do you love about travel?
Meeting locals, food and surprises.
7. What do you hate about travel?
Basically flight delays and spending too much time in airports.
8. Do you like to travel alone or with people? Why?
Sharing experiences makes me happy but I definitely need to make a long trip alone. I just didn’t have the chance yet.
9. What do you think about during travel?
I think about how big and different the world is and how far away we are sometimes, from what really matters in life. I think a lot about how lucky I am just for being there sharing a moment with locals.
10. Any future travel plans?
Sure, I will do a road trip to the Fes desert in April. Can’t wait!

《沒有菲德爾的古巴》是一個關於古巴人的故事，講了他們在失去菲德爾·卡斯特羅之後的街頭生活。我在那趟旅程中，發現了被禁運57年之久的古巴社會的公平與幸福。意識到我們在生活中所擁有的；以及將物質價值置於道德價值之前，我們有什麽被喚醒了。
6. 旅行最讓你喜歡的是什麽？
與當地的人、美食和驚喜相遇。
7. 旅行最讓你討厭的是什麽？
基本上是航班延誤，得花太多時間呆在機場。
8. 你喜歡獨自旅行還是跟朋友一起？為什麽？
分享經驗讓我快樂，但是我肯定需要一次個人的長途旅行，只是還沒有機會。
9. 旅行時經常會想到什麽？
我會去思考這個世界有多大、有多不同，以及人與人之間的距離有多遠，生命中什麽才是真正重要的。能和當地人呆在一起的那些瞬間，總讓我覺得自己太幸運了。
10. 接下來有什麽旅行的打算嗎？
當然，四月會有一趟去菲斯沙漠的公路旅行。已經等不及了！
